Sabrina : Licensed Tattoo Artist & Creative With over 15 years of experience in the beauty and body art industry, I bring a rich background in both tattooing and creative art. My journey into art started at a young age, growing up in foster care, where creativity became my escape and my way of expressing emotions that words couldn’t capture. Music often accompanied me during this process, guiding me for hours as I explored different creative outlets. At 16, I got my first tattoo and was instantly hooked. It wasn’t just about the ink—it was a form of therapy, a way to express my emotions and commemorate the challenges I was facing. My Tattoo journey began in 2006, when I completed two years of a supervised tattoo apprenticeship, earning my professional tattoo license in 2008 in Springfield, MA. I have a deep respect for the rich history of tattooing.Since then, tattooing has become more than body art for me; it's a reflection of my life’s journey and the personal stories that shape it. Professionally, I entered the tattoo world in 2008, but after becoming a single mother, I took a step back from tattooing for awhile to provide the best future for my son. I transitioned into the beauty industry, where I discovered similarities between tattooing and running my own business. However, the call to tattooing was never far from my heart, and as my son grew older and life shifted, I knew it was time to return to my passion. I’ve always been drawn to creativity, from painting murals in high school to earning my cosmetology license from Kay Harvey Beauty Academy in 2010. Where I specialized in creative makeup, body painting, and hair color, focusing particularly on creative color techniques. I did professional Special Fx makeup and body painting for a couple years before Covid. My passion for art is lifelong, with a foundation in drawing, oil and acrylic painting. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of displaying my work in New Orleans, art shows and my pieces have even been recognized in award-winning creative categories. But tattooing felt like home—it spoke to my soul in a way nothing else could. Over the years, I’ve worked in various fields—from pharmacy and customer service to beauty and even government—but never quite found my true home. In between, I would always return to drawing, reigniting the passion that has fueled me since my youth. That spark eventually led me back to tattooing. Now, with a fresh vision and new focus, I’ve opened my own tattoo studio, a space where artistry and clients are treated with the utmost respect. While I honor traditional tattooing roots, my work blends fine line techniques with intricate details to create personal, meaningful pieces for my clients. Each tattoo is a unique connection, an opportunity to create something that tells a story, just like my own. I take immense pride in my art, my work ethic, and my commitment to safety. Continuous education is important to me, and I actively seek opportunities to further my knowledge and enhance the quality of my craft. Bring a legal form of government issued ID with you (state license or passport). Wear appropriate clothing for area to be tattooed. How do I care for my new tattoo? Keep it clean! I recommend using a gentle, unscented soap like Dr.Bronner's or dial antibacterial soap to cleanse, and a super light layer of pure coconut oil, or aftercare product to help moisturize your tattoo, as needed, during healing. Less is more! You want to let it breathe. If you are using a Saniderm like product, I recommend leaving it on for 2 to 3 days, and remove in the shower with warm water, pulling from the corners gently ,resume normal aftercare (cleansing & light moisturizing).  Additional detailed verbal and written instructions will be given to you at the time of your appointment. Plan to stay away from the gym for a few days and away from baths/pools/beaches and the sun for a few weeks. Itching and/or flaking is normal, so please do not pick or scratch your healing tattoo.
